Lake Pleasant is a beautiful lake that covers an area of 10,000 acres. The lake is fed by the Agua Fria River and has a maximum depth of 260 feet. The dam was built in the early 1970s and creates the Lake Pleasant reservoir. The aqueduct carries water from the lake to Phoenix and other parts of the valley.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is known for having some of the best inland scuba diving in the western states. The park also has a playground for the kids. There are few restaurants at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Scorpion Bay Grill, and Dillon’s Bayou at Pleasant Harbor. You can get your fix for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menus feature a variety of American favorites, including burgers, fries, and shakes.

There are several hotels located near Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Some of the closest hotels include the Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix/Scottsdale Airport and the Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix North/Happy Valley.

How to get to the park

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is located in Peoria, Arizona, and is easily accessible from Phoenix and the surrounding areas. The park is located off of Highway 87, and there is a large parking lot available. There is also a shuttle service available from the parking lot to the park’s main entrance.
