We have been to many Thai restaurants in the Valley, and we tried this one first because it came highly recommended on Yelp. The meal was excellent and, in our opinion, what it should have been. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall (which is probably a good thing). It sits right next to a barber at the very end, so you can imagine how busy it can be on weekends. The decor is very basic Thai/Vietnamese with a few nice touches and some OK art.

The food was excellent — one of the best we have had anywhere — but the ambiance took away from the enjoyment. Aside from the bare decor, this place does not disappoint.

13. Sala Thai Restaurant

Don’t let the location fool you – the food at Sala Thai Restaurant is amazing! The coconut shrimp, bok choy curry, and red curry are all delicious, and the presentation of the food is beautiful. Sala Thai Restaurant is worth checking out if you’re looking for an amazing Thai dining experience! Don’t forget to try the Thai iced tea – it’s the best we’ve ever had!

12. Thai Long-An

4447 N 7th Ave, Phoenix

We’ve had Pad Thai at Long An for years, which is undoubtedly the best. The food is great, and the service is friendly. The prices are reasonable, too. Thai Long An has been in business for years and has grown from a secret tip to an institution.

The first thing you’ll notice when entering Long An is the amount of produce they use in most dishes. Thai Long An serves up an easy-to-eat assortment of Pad Thai (the traditional dish), Tom Yum (a noodle dish with coconut milk), and Moo Larb (chicken and beef cooked in spicy chili sauce), among other favorite dishes. Still, all come with generous portions and delicious flavors that will keep you returning for more time and time again!
